In Naoussa you can catch the boat from the harbour over to Kolimbithres/Paros Park and Lageri Beaches, several times an hour in summer.

There are a number of water taxis that take people out to some of the beaches. We use and recommended Discover Cars for car hire.

Many Hire cars are manual and it is best to get a small one as parking can be very tight in many places! Most places will deliver to your hotel in Naoussa and many have offices at the Port and/or can meet you at the airport. Hiring a car is highly recommended on Paros so you can discover for yourself the many things the island has to offer or even pop over to neighbouring Antiparos next door. They can usually be found at the Port for ferry arrivals but it can pay to book in advance by phone if you need one. There are a few Taxis on the island but they can be hard to get in Summer. They need to learn a thing or two about customer service and ethics instead of trying to screw the tourists. There is a good bus service on Paros that services the entire circumference of the island and many of the interior villages. I would like to see the staff of this place how they would feel if they paid $165 and got treated the same way. As if getting ripped off for average food wasn’t enough I had to deal with this totally ruining my family’s evening. Before I could even respond the hostess shoved the bill and the credit card machine in front of me.

Then the manger came around (4th person) and asked if we were going to order something else to which we replied the same and then he said “well if you aren’t ordering something else then I’ll get you the bill”. When we sat down we were told that we could only stay for 2 hours….fine I accept that but at 50 minutes we were finished our mains and were asked 3 times within 5 minutes if we wanted deserts to which we politely answered “not yet thank you” (as we were basically still swallowing our last bite of food) which is not a no but a way of saying we will order later.

I fully understand the desire to turn tables but this place takes it to a whole new level. rush you so bad it ruins your entire evening out. This is sadly not the worst part…….the worst is that they. The food was average at at best and the prices are more than double anywhere else. There is a reason it’s only rated No 64 out of restaurants in Naoussa. The worst experience at a restaurant ever. This place should be visited by the health administration and really reconsider if you want to be treated this way because you paid “only” 160€ for two. So after we finished with our food which was tasty but nothing special, also here there wasn’t value for money since we paid 160€, we couldn’t drink to end our bottle of wine since we were rudely kicked out of the restaurant by the hostess, manager ( who shouted to us and presented himself as a very important person) because we didn’t want to order something else at the moment so 160€ bill wasn’t enough for them, so they can quickly sell the table to others. Seems that HYGIENE means nothing to this place. Tables were “cleaned” with the used napkins of the last clients by the hostess so that the table can be quickly given to new clients. the back we could see a waiter bring the garbage out of the restaurant bare hands and then directly served the plates to the table next to us. Had a reservation for two, by the time we arrived there wasn’t a table reserved for us and were seated at the last table since we weren’t so important, then waited like 30 minutes for someone to order.
